Job Title: Finance Officer

Responsibilities

 Key job responsibilities include: 

  • Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Prepare balance sheets
  • Process invoices
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Update internal systems with financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Track bank deposits and payments
  • Assist with budget preparation

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

Qualification:

  • First Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • ICAN/ACCA Certification is required for this role
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience required

 
Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Working knowledge of ERP Solutions
  • Skilled in basic typing and data entry
  • Efficient use of accounting templates
  • Knowledge in basic Book Keeping procedure
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
